At least one United States soldier has been killed and four others have got injured during a "combat engagement" in the eastern province of Afghanistan.
Kabul [Afghanistan]: At least one United States soldier has been killed and four others have got injured during a "combat engagement" in the eastern province of Afghanistan.
The Tolo News quoted the U.S. military on Tuesday as saying in a statement that the incident took place in the Achin district of Nangarhar. The injured are being treated at a medical facility and two of them are in stable condition, the statement added.

Achin is amongst the worst-hit provinces, mostly struggling with the Islamic State terrorists since 2015.
