New Delhi: India's Foreign Secretary, Vikram Misri, will be on an official visit to the United States from April 8 to 10. The Ministry of External Affairs has provided details regarding this visit. During his stay in Washington D.C., he will review the entire spectrum of bilateral relations between India and the U.S. This visit comes at a time when the strategic partnership between the two nations is steadily strengthening, and cooperation is being expanded across several key sectors.

According to the Ministry of External Affairs, the primary objective of this visit is to further advance the ongoing cooperation between India and the United States. Vikram Misri will participate in several important meetings with senior officials of the U.S. administration. These meetings will feature discussions on key subjects such as trade, defense, and science and technology. Furthermore, both sides will exchange views on regional and global issues, including aspects related to security and economic cooperation.

Meanwhile, the U.S. Ambassador to India, Sergio Gor, is also currently in the United States.
