Pakistan: 11 killed, 30 wounded in fire broke out

At least 11 people were killed and 30 others got injured when a huge fire broke out at Karachi's Regent Plaza hotel on Monday.


The incident occurred when the fire which broke out in the kitchen located at the ground floor of the hotel spread to the six floor of the building trapping many hotel guests in their rooms.


An operation was started by the fire brigade to rescue the guests.


The rescue operation is underway as some people are still reportedly trapped inside the hotel.


The reason of fire is not yet found. (With ANI inputs)
