Lawyer files a case against Ghulam Nabi Azad for his Uri remark

A case has been filed in the Chief Judicial Magistrate Court, Maharajganj, Uttar Pradesh against the Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad over his remark in Rajya Sabha comparing the deaths of people due to demonetisation with the martyrdom of soldiers killed in Uri attack.

 

 

The case has been filed by a Human Right activist and lwayer Vinay Kumar Pandey under IPC sections 124A, 511, 505(1), 500 and 131. The Court has accepted the complaint case and has fixed December 3, 2016 for next hearing.

 

Pandey told Dynamite News that Azad has hurt the feelings of Indians by his unwarranted remark. I was therefore constrained to file this court case against him.
