Mumbai/ 15 January 2017. In the amist of Karan-Kajol controversy, Bollywood ace director Karan has disclosed his 2002 spat with now best friend Kareena Kapoor Khan in his recent biography' An Unsuitable Boy'.

Karan’s biography revealed that they did not speak to each other for more than nine months.

The 44-year-old director has written his side of the story in the book, "My first problem was with Kareena. She asked for too much money and we had some kind of a argue at that time.

"The weekend of 'Mujhse Dosti Karoge's release, I offered her 'Kal Ho Naa Ho', and she asked for the same money that Shah Rukh Khan was getting. I said, 'Sorry', he told.

Thus, Karan was hurt due to this they were not in talking terms. But after, they worked out. 

Both have worked together in some popular movies including, 'Gori Tere Pyaar Mein', 'Bombay Talkies', 'Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu', 'We Are Family' and 'Kurbaan'. (With ANI inputs)
