New Delhi/ 25 November 2016. As winter knocks at the door of national Capital, all the seasonal vegetables are available in the markets.
One of them is Turnip with which we can make many kinds of delicious dishes.

Garlic 2-3 cloves
Green Chilly 2 pieces
Panch phoron 1 teaspoon
Onion 1 cup
Water ½ cup
Black pepper 1 teaspoon
Turmeric 1 teaspoon
Red chilly 1 teaspoon
Coriander powder 1 teaspoon
Salt to taste
Coriander leaves 10gms
Chop the turnip in to small pieces. Now blend garlic, ginger and green chilly.
Heat oil in a pan, add panch phoron in it. Now add the mix of ginger garlic and chilly.
Then add onion and let it cook till it turns brown.
In separate bowl mix water, jiggery, coriander leaves, mint and black pepper and add to the pan.
Now add salt, coriander, red chilly powder and turmeric and mix it well.
Now add the turnip and water in the pan. Let it cook for a while till it turns brown.
Garnish it with coriander leaves.
